Players can access the registration platform either directly through the main Unibet Casino PA website, or via one of the links on this page. They’ll also be encouraged to enter any promotional code, along with their email address and a password.
- First and last name
- Home address – Note you do not have to be in Pennsylvania to register an account, nor must you hold a PA residence to play for real-money. You merely have to be geo-located in the Keystone State via WiFi or 4G to wager funds.
- Date of birth
- Last four digits of SSN: This is only used to verify your identity.
Players will also be tasked with selecting security questions/answers, and will have the option to select strong authentication and set responsible gaming limits. Once an application is submitted, the system takes mere seconds to either verify the account or inform players if there is a problem. Pass the test, and you’ll be free to make deposits.
Unibet Casino: Available platforms
Unibet Casino uses SG Digital’s Open Platform System and Open Gaming System to provide players with a top-notch gaming experience. In Pennsylvania, the platform is available on both desktop and mobile as an integrated platform spanning both a sportsbook and online casino. However, there is currently only a dedicated app for Android apps, with iOS users currently having to use a workaround that enables them to use the product from their mobile browser.
Desktop client
Unibet Casino PA is available as a browser-based client on PC and Mac, with no downloads required. Just fire up your favorite modern browser, like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Safari for Mac, and get to playing.
As for the interface itself, it’s hardly a marvel of modern web architecture, but it delivers, featuring a well thought out tabular structure that grants players easy access to both the sportsbook and the online casino. Game types are divided neatly into categories, and players can quickly access its terrific help sections, promos, mobile online casino and a getting started guide all from the home page. The white on green aesthetic is a staple of Unibet, and was ported over to its Pennsylvania site.
Games tend to run very smoothly on desktop, with short loading times and few (if any) crashes. Demo modes are available, so players are free to try before they buy, even if they don’t have an account yet. A full-screen mode option is available from the game interface, which we thought was a nice touch.
The account management features can all be accessed through the hamburger menu located on the top-right corner of the screen. There, players will find the cashier, account summaries, account info, bonus info, and a slew of responsible gaming controls. It’s all laid out nicely, although we do wish we were able to set different limits for the casino and the sportsbook.
Mobile app
Games play extremely smoothly on mobile, and demo modes are available, both big plusses. However, we did experience the occasional problem when we initially loaded a game, sometimes forcing a do-over.
Another positive is that it appears all the games present on desktop were ported over to mobile. On most other PA online casinos, not all games made the cut.
One big disappointment is that we couldn’t switch over to the sportsbook without geolocating first, or at least we couldn’t until we logged out of our account. Out-of-state account holders should be able to at least view the lines without this extra step.
